Subject: [*] ][2Mac v1.2.2
][2Mac is a set of 3 applications, 1 for the Mac and 2 for the Apple-][,
that allow you to backup and restore Apple-][ floppies to/from a Mac.
The floppy-image is stored on the Mac in a format that is recognized by
IIe, the Apple //e emulator for the Mac, written by Victor and Vincent Tan
(see: http://www-personal.usyd.edu.au/~vtan/sw/index.html).
One of the users of ][2Mac even reported, that he has successfully
transferred DOS 3.3-, ProDOS- as well as Pascal-formatted disks from
his Apple //e to his Mac, and that he is using the diskimages now
on his Mac, in the IIgs emulator called 'Bernie ][ the Rescue'
(see: http://www.magnet.ch/emutech/Bernie/).
Also... ][2Mac enables you to use a Macintosh to send out and receive
Apple-][-disks to and from your friends over the internet...

Very fast freeware file copying utility.
Amanuensis does this: it duplicates files, combining the Finder

utility. It 'sees' files of any type, and it duplicates both the
data and resource forks. An Amanuensis duplicate is an exact copy of
the original.

Subject: [*] ClockSync II 1.3.2
If you have two or more Macintoshes, you probably notice that the clocks
drift apart as time goes by. This can range from being a minor nuisance to
a problem, especially if you do a lot of synchronizing between the
Macintoshes. ClockSync II synchronizes the clocks between two or more
Macintoshes, by setting the clocks of the "Servant"Macintoshes to that of a
"Master" Macintosh.
ClockSync has two components. The ClockSync Master runs continuously on
the "Master" Macintosh, while the ClockSync Servant can be run on any other
Macintosh on the network to update its time.
All of my utilities can be registered through the Kagi shareware system.
Version 1.3.2 has the following enhancements:
- Master: Update time servers.
- Master: Enhanced timeout period if server connection fails.
- Master: Add work-around to properly set time for 30-minute time zones.
Shareware; $5 for a 3-user license with larger licenses available.

Subject: [*] Extensions Strip 1.8.1
There is a new release of Extensions Strip. Version 1.8.1 fixes a few bugs and
adds a couple small features. The following is a short description of ES and
what was updated.
Extensions Strip hosts control strip modules in the most flexible
environment out
there. Its theme is "extensions with a global interface" because of the extra
power it gives to modules, especially the Extensions Strip savvy ones. Included
in the package are two useful modules, a few icon themes, and developer stuff
----- 1.8.1:
- When strips are un-anchored (not in a corner of a monitor) the base title
icon is on the left/top. This is better because when strips grow to the
right/down the title icon remains in place.
- Fixed a problem where all the modules would reload if the system time
zone or daylight savings setting was changed. Special thanks to Marco
Damaschi for providing the solution to this.
- Fixed a registering problem with the control panel.
- When using System 8.5, dragging something over an iconized strip will
cause the strip to expand. This allows makes it easier to access
drag-aware modules. Do to limitations in System software, this will not
work under earlier Systems.
- You can get Extensions Strip to reload a modified theme by clicking on a
strip's title icon while holding down command and option keys. This will
also reload all modified and closed modules as in earlier versions of ES.

An Ident client will ask "who is using a particular connection."
Since MacOS is single user, ident-d simply returns the "Owner Name" of the

SyJetWrapper can upgrade to this new version for $5. Registered users of
more then one of the previous wrapper programs can upgrade for free.
Contact me at: 12ftguru@mindspring.com and I will send you the registration
code for MediaWrapper Light.
You can register MediaWrapper Light online at:
http://order.kagi.com/?3TY or via secure server at: https://order.kagi.com/?3TY
MediaWrapper Light Features
MediaWrapper Light offers the following features:
* Scan inside subfolders
* Prints Date Scanned and Space Available on disk
* Editable fields
* Picture can be changed for all wrappers.
* MediaWrapper Light stores all settings including a default picture which
can be set using the Preferences in the Edit menu.
* MediaWrapper Light is also much faster then previous versions.
MediaWrapper Light was created using REALBasic, and no longer relies on
Applescript. In addition to a significant speed boost, MediaWrapper Light
does not experience any of the incompatibilities with HP 600 and 800 series
printers which were found in the previous wrapper programs. MediaWrapper
Light also eliminates the -1757 "Unknown Dialect Error" and the "Please
locate the Facespan extension" error, which occasionally caused problems
with older versions.
A complete set of documentation is at:

If you encounter any other problems with this software please report them
to me so I can fix them.

If you were lucky when you were growing up, you had the opportunity to play
"Mystery Date", an only slightly challenging board game in which girls
tried to find the best mates. When the door opened, they hoped the caller
would be the "Dream" and not the "Dud."
"Why not," thought the rabbit, "apply these same rules to religion? After
all, some gods are dreams, and some are definitely duds!" Hence, the
Mystery God, an exciting application which allows you to be randomly
assigned one of several fascinating deities! Led by your spiritual guide,
Steve the Cat, your pulse will quicken and your nether regions engorge with
blood as the door to Eternity swings open, revealing the Mystery God you
have chosen!
All Naked Rabbit programs require at least 4Mb RAM, 256 colors, and a sense
of humor. Each comes in a self-extracting archive.

Subject: [*] Once in a Lifetime 2.0
Once in a Lifetime is a simple (but addictive) one-player card game for
HyperCard. It has a high-score list, statistics, and full 'balloon
help'-style help, including an 'Autoplay' option which lets the computer
play the game by itself. It should work on any Mac with HyperCard 2.1 or
later and a 640x400 or larger screen.
* The cards are larger, with proper picture cards which have pictures of
real and fictional people on them - anyone from Princess Diana (Queen of
Hearts) to Fred Flintstone (King of Clubs.) There are also Apple cards
instead of Spades - I'd rather have Steve Wozniak in my picture cards than
some gardeners.
* Jokers have been added, which can do some pretty naughty things like
steal cards and change your score.
* I've fixed a problem in resetting the high scores, so that you don't have
to save them as a text file before resetting them.
* This version includes statistics on how many games you've played, average
score, how many (and the percentage of) games you've won, and a rating
which reflects your scoring, wins, and number of games played.
* You can now import highscores from OIAL highscore files saved using this
or earlier versions of Once in a Lifetime.
* More new sounds

Subject: [*] Recent Additions
Recent Additions - is a system enhancement that creates aliases for
recently created files (documents and applications) on your Macintosh. You
can select and open these aliases rather than the files themselves. The
aliases are stored in a folder called "Recent Additions", inside the Apple
Menu Items folder in your System Folder. Recent Additions saves the date,
time and path to uploaded files in a log file. The text format of this log
file displays the path information relative to the root directory of the
hard drive. The TML format uses the computer's domain name to convert the
path to a URL.

Subject: [*] YAAF v1.0a3
YAAF is an application framework for building applications in
C++ which can be executed on the Macintosh, Microsoft Windows,
and X (on Linux). YAAF is a C++ framework which encapsulates
the various GUI APIs of three different operating systems into
a common, relatively easy to use framework. Programs which
are built using YAAF can with little effort be compiled on
all three platforms and run in an identical manner.
Also included with this source kit is the YAAF Constructor,
a program which can be used to lay out windows and dialog boxes,
as well as edit error messages. The YAAF Constructor is
compiled for the Macintosh, Windows and X (under RedHat
Linux for Intel v5.1). Also included are other utilities,
the source kit to xt (a simple text editor program that uses
the YAAF library), and the documentation set in HTML format.
The YAAF Library is released under the GNU Library General
Public License. The YAAF Constructor and tools are all
released under the GNU General Public License. And the source
kit to 'xt' is released into the public domain. Versions of
the YAAF library for Microsoft Windows and X are included.
