Welcome to Easy Note, an easy to use, extremely handy scribble pad
application for the Psion Series 5. Easy Note is perfect for jotting
down all those bits and peices of information which come along during
the course of your day: telephone numbers, directions, general notes,
anything really! You will quickly find Easy Note becomes an essential
part of your "Extras Bar".


Installing Easy Note
====================

1) Turn on your Series 5, press the System button, press the Menu key,
under 'Tools' select 'Preferences', make sure that the 'show system folder'
option is 'OK'. This will make the System folder visible on your Psion.

2) Create a new \SYSTEM\APPS\EASYNOTE folder.

3) Copy all the files from the EnoteXX.zip file, except this readme file,
into the new \SYSTEM\APPS\EASYNOTE folder on your Psion.

4) The Easy Note icon will now appear on your Extra's Bar, ready to use.

***Please note: You will have found a file named ConvNote.zip within this
.zip file. You do not need this for a new installation.***

Upgrading to version 1.3
========================

1) Turn on your Series 5, press the System button, press the Menu key,
under 'Tools' select 'Preferences', make sure that the 'show system folder'
option is 'OK'. This will make the System folder visible on your Psion.

2) Go to your \SYSTEM\APPS\EASYNOTE folder and delete all the Easy Note
program files. (Please Note: If you are a registered user you will have an
EasyNote.reg files in this folder. Do Not delete this file).

3) Copy all the files found in this .ZIP file (except this readme.txt
file) into the \SYSTEM\APPS\EASYNOTE folder.

4) The Easy Note icon will now appear on your Extra's Bar.
	
*** Please Note: Version 1.2 and higher use a slightly different format.
To upgrade your existing Easy Note files use ConvNote.opo which can be
found in the ConvNote.zip archive which accompanies this .zip file. ***

Getting Started
===============

Easy Note has been designed to be very easy to use. Full on-line help
is available, and you will quickly find yourself at home with all the
main functions. To create your first Easy Note entry simply tap an empty
line on the main screen, or choose the "New Entry" option from the toolbar
or Menu. Type in your note, set the date, and press the "Save" button.
That's it!!

How to Register
===============

Easy Note is shareware. This is a system which allows you to try this
product for an evaluation period of 21 days free of charge. If you want
to continue using it after this time you must register your copy.

Registration will remove the nag messages. Registered users will also be
sent upgraded versions of Easy Note free of charge, (except any postage
charges for registered users without an e-mail address).

The registration fee for Easy Note is $15 US / £10 UK.

Please include your e-mail address, postal address or telephone number
and which version of Easy Note you are using, so that you may be sent
the registration instructions and codes. Registartion codes will normally
be sent within one week, however if you include an e-mail address or
telephone number you will usually get it the same day!

Overseas registration is also welcome this way, in either sterling or US
dollors.
