Amapola Flyg
Amapola Flyg is a small Swedish airline which in 2019 owned 22 Fokker F50 planes in working order and four classified as historic ones. All of the planes are
roughly 30 years old or even older. Amapola flies both cargo routes as well as scheduled passenger services, connecting some small airfields in the north with
Stockholm Arlanda. At the time when this text was written, Amapola operated the passenger routes Hemavan-Kramfors-Arlanda and Lycksele-Arlanda.
This aeroplane type was designed already in the 1950s as a military plane for parachute jumping. Civil versions were soon made also and they were known as
Fokker F-27 Friendship. Later on, larger versions of the Friendship fitted with turboprop engines became available and then the brand name was changed to
Fokker F50. All of Amapola Flyg's Fokker machines are of the type F50. This one, SE-LTR was originally PH-JXC. It first flew in July 1991. It has flown for
Fokker, Rio Sul, Norwegian Air Shuttle, Swe Fly, Denim Air, VLM and Cityjet before Amapola acquired it in December 2018. It entered Amapola's service only in
February 2019 and that's why it had not yet received any of Amapola's tapings at the time when this picture was taken.

Amapola Flyg's SE-LJH is another Fokker F50 like all of Amapola's machines are. It was first taken in use by Luxair in December 1989. It flew also for Skyways 2005-2006.
It has been converted to a pure cargo machine now.

Amapola Flyg's SE-MFR is one of the newest Fokker F50 machines. It was first taken in use in 1992 by Austrian and it has since had a long list of
owners and users. Amapola took it over in October 2018.

OY-CIU is an ATR-42 version 300. The machine is from the year 1988. In its history it has a very long list of owners here and there,
but mainly in Canada and Denmark. It has been with DAT since the year 2000. DAT is the parent company of the Finnish company Norra
and at the time when this photo was taken, Norra had a serious deficit of planes, so DAT came to help and loaned this machine for
