Could >you mail it to me? > >Thanks... Most of the software people are asking for is available from Plains.nodak.edu, available for anonymous FTP. Floating Point support is available in fp.tar.Z in the oz subdirectory. The ST01/02 driver is called '/pub/Minix/pc/mdoell-st01-2'. I recommend that everyone who is looking for software get the file 'ls-RCT' from /pub on Plains, so that you know exactly what is there. Remember, if FTP access is not available, you can have Plains Mail it to you. It's all covered in the 'Introduction' document you got when you first subscribed. As an aside (and since I'm too lazy to write to Glen direct) it may be time to send out the 'Welcome to Minix' sheet with the mailserver instructions in it again. The fall semesters are starting again, and all of the new people are asking the same new questions; just like last summer. Also, I am interested in talking to a professor or two about a Master's program. I am posting this here because I don't have access to any good schools here (or in Honduras) and would like to do the bulk of my M.S. in Computer Science in Minix. The details are unimportant (except to me and prospective profs) but suffice it to say that I will have about 8 hours a day for six straight months to work a Graduate Program. Flexibility and 'free thought' are required, so if you (or one of your free thinking instructors) is interested, please E-Mail me. TSgt Dave Burgess, USAF Armstrong Lab MIS Brooks AFB, TX
